Creating a multiplayer game is something I’ve always wanted to try out for myself. Fortunately Unreal Engine makes this very easy once you get the hang of its simple client-server implementation.
The game features fifteen different characters to play as with an unlimited amount of players per team, fighting in an arena-style match where the last team standing wins. Players can host or join lobbies to play with friends on the same network (or open their ports to host a server publicly). As I’ve started working on a second hero shooter game in Unreal Engine (with an overall improved structure and optimization) I’m unlikely to push any more updates to this one.
