Obscurity is a short linear horror prototype I developed over the course of five months, acting as somewhat of an introduction to Unreal Engine for me. The game revolves around an unarmed, silent protagonist who explores a complex cavesystem. The player has to hide and run from an aggressive monster using a mysterious power that allows him/her to temporarily view the world through the monster’s eyes.
Since this game was created as a short prototype for me to get familiar with Unreal Engine, I haven’t revised my old code or added any requested features (like a main menu). Most of Obscurity’s assets are from Epic Games’ Open World Demo and Infinity Blade: Grasslands.
